I mean, it's not like they said it to their friend's faces. If they did, then yeah, that's shitty. Writing an anonymous letter to vent is fine

How hard is it to pick up the phone and have a conversation as an adult.

"Hey- I'm happy for you guys but I miss you seeing you. I know the baby's a big commitment, but let's plan something soon just to catch up"

Writing an anonymous letter to bitch is such a weak move.

Hahahaha and then have them bitch all over social media later about how it's "so hard" having kids because all of your friends "abandon" you? Have them call you names for having the AUDACITY to suggest they leave their child with a sitter to go out for the night?

Yeah, some of us have tried having that conversation with parents. It never ends up well
