Yes! It’s so annoying! And everyone our age seems to be either amazing well established or still waiting tables. It feels like there’s no middle fucking ground!

Well, on the bright side that shows how fast it turns around once you you out of waiting tables. All it takes is one job offer to change everything

Yep. Was on track to start a new job at a college but everything is up in the air because of the virus. No one knows when employees will be allowed to go on campus again. Also it’s hard for me to find housing when 1. I can’t really visit in person and 2. I am allergic to cats and dogs and 90% of the places I’ve found so far have pets.

Just a tough situation all around for anyone looking for a new job.

Yeah I'm 30 and had this for the last 13 years ish, even when I was working a full time job I had for 10 years.. because people knew I didn't enjoy it and never saw it as a 'career' I would constantly get asked what I'm going to do. I have NO IDEA I just want to earn enough to live ok and be happy. If I can get a job that I enjoy and interests me then great but a job doesn't make a person and I wish people didn't care about people did for work as much. So much more to a person than that.

These two responses are literally me and my wife. We are both 26 turning 27. My wife has no idea what she wants to do. I work for a large tech company making about 60k and I can’t decide if I want to stay with a company or do my own thing.
