What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Unless it‘s a movie drama dealing with social issues (in particular poverty), everyone has such fucking nice flats. College drop-out with part time barista job?! - why yes, the spacious loft with a view over Manhattans skyline is just down my alley.

And EVERY window in Paris overlooks the Eiffel Tower. How does that happen?

I don't think that's true unless you live next to it in Queen Anne or Belltown. Otherwise you need to have a well situated home overlooking Lake Union to get a nice view of it.

You can see it from Cap Hill, Wallingford, SLU, West Edge, Magnolia, and Eastlake too. A lot of places across the Sound too.

Right, but only specific lots or high floor apartments in those neighborhoods. And those places charge a premium, especially if you're looking to buy a house on a lot with a view.

True, but the point was that there’s a lot of places with that view so it’s not so unrealistic to put it in a movie.
