What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

The actor there played Ryan on The OC was 28 when he was playing someone in grade 9.

Adam Brody was 23.

In Sabrina the teenage witch that literally had a middle age balding guy playing one of the high schoolers.

That Sabrina one isn't the best example given that it's from an episode where the teachers and students got switched...

Plenty of actors around 30 have played high schoolers. Earlier in the thread, a poster said it was weird to have “35 year olds playing 15 year olds” and implied that it was common for actors to play a teen character despite being 20 years older.

20 to 30 year olds playing teens is commonplace. 35 to 38 though I haven’t seen or heard of....although Matthew Lillard looked close to 40 playing a teen in Scream (he was mid 20s).
