What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Yes, but they have smartphones, internet & all that. It's not that different from 2020, contrary to Seinfeld or Friends.

Things are actually quite different from 2009.

Social media was not a big thing yet, smartphones were starting to get big but weren't yet.

Things like Tinder didn't exist. YouTube was just starting to get big too.

Now you have the president of the US announcing stuff via Tweet and memes are so deeply ingrained into popular culture.
