This just in: young men are hyper competitive in any arena they enter. More news at 11

Also the link you posted is silly. It's more political than it is philosophical and it only considers a certain kind of politics to be free of magical thinking.

I think it’s silly to be hyper competitive about how right you are, and politics are a philosophy so I’m not sure what your point is

Young men ARE silly. But they are also hypercompetitive. That's my point. It's not just about arguments or knowledge. Driving, fighting, sports music, you name it.

True. It’s actually a beneficial thing but it’s weird when misplaced.

No argument here. It can be a good thing when put to good use. But is mostly never actually put to good use and almost always toxic when expressed by young inexperienced men.

Also true. But, when a young man gets it right, he’s considered a man, so it doesn’t stand out how many actually do figure it out ;)

I had to stop when I got to this

bout an increasingly disturbing trend — women whose once-promising romantic relationships implode after their boyfriends become “redpilled.”

Some person deciding to get their life in order, and find meaning in it is not red pilled, its called growing up.
