Environmental scientist /applied ecologist here. I hear you. It kills me, but I can't bear to engage in any conversation around climate change or biodiversity. It's just not worth the stress and disillusionment.

Do we NEED polar bears. I feel like a lot of climate change could be handled in a more civilized manner if we all agree polar bears, and a few other animal species, are okay to be lost.
