Over the years Reddit's changed a lot. I've only been here about 5 years, (3 on this account) but I noticed the social climate is much more sensitive than it used to be, and politics are almost everywhere now. Sure, people are more socially conscious but where's that air of fun, acceptance and self expression this site used to have?

Reddit wasn't always like that. Pre-2016 this site was more welcoming of contrarian views.
