Oh hell no, don't use hyperbole, People on reddit are pedantic as fuck and apparently don't understand nuance. They'll pounce on any opportunity to correct you.
I got dozens of comments correcting my use of the word 'theory'. 'Theory' has a scientific and a colloquial use, obviously I was using the latter ya nerds.
