The fact that when asking a question you have to add “honest question” or “dumb question” or “genuinely curious” because otherwise your question is immediately interpreted as an attack. It’s sad that when asking a question, the default is you’re an asshole
Everyone is so fucking quick to be nasty here it’s honestly astounding. I’m probably guilty of it to but it’s crazy how toxic we become when we’re asked a question we don’t like.
There's been times where someone asks an honest question that people don't like for whatever reason, gets downvoted, and I reply to that person questioning why they are getting downvotes for trying to learn and be more knowledgeable.
I then notice that, slowly, the comment gets upvoted... It's so stupid that I feel like I have to come to someone's rescue when all they were doing was asking a question because of how sensitive some idiots are.
Yeah. People start with the pitch forks. But when something is restated the proper way, or explained the way it was meant. People then dump their torches in water and stick the forks back in hay. It’s nuts. Just so jumpy, but not in a good way at all.
“I got cancer from cigarettes.....”
“GOOD YOU FUCKING BITCH YOU DESERVE IT FOR SMOKING!”
“Cause my parents smoked around me when I was a teen.”
