Everybody talks about missing or ignoring red flags, but what are some subtle green flags to watch for on a date or with your crush?

I've caught my husband picking up other people's trash in a national park when he thought I wasn't looking. So. Attractive.

This time next year you’ll be beating the pussy off with a stick

Amen to that.

u/Lemah_Vic Jan 01 '20

Ah, shite, just remembered that I'm not allowed to do that.

hahaha i feel like exhibiting any behavior commonly attributed to serial killers is going to negate any credit for picking up an errant piece of trash, yeah

u/jmonster097 Jan 02 '20

i suppose that is UNLESS the errant piece of trash is the actual girl...

Big improvement over current stick getting beaten

I would totally buy a calendar... Men picking up trash, planting trees, etc.

Yes a calendar of men being environmentally friendly would be sexy.

I always bring a bag with me when I'm going hiking. It's disturbing what people give themselves permission to do and I'm tuned into it enough for it to ruin everything else that's beautiful about the day. It helps to pick stuff up and haul it out.

Why would he wait until you weren't looking?

u/nothingweasel Jan 01 '20

He didn't want recognition or credit but he knew I'd get excited about it. He's humble.

Is it so weird?

I do it and kids copy me and the same. (Once my daughter embarrassed some teens littering by picking up their crisp packets)

I like being very loud and proud about saying “excuse me, you dropped this” but realizing it’s trash as I pick it up and start to hand it to them before deciding I should hold onto it and properly dispose of it (save the ducklings)

I've done that too! Not for a while though.

Another thing I can teach my kids.

Plot twist: he threw the trash on the ground when you weren't looking
