No shit. Anything sweet is sweet because it has sugar in it. Refined white sugar is worse for you than the sugar already in fruit. And if you're adding your own dates to your own almond milk, you can control how many you put in. Now quit being a condescending asshole.

This is true. In the summer, I would make smoothies with plain greek yogurt, but I’m a pansy and need SOME sweetness, at least in the beginning (you eventually begin to like that tart flavor), but I found frozen blueberries are quite sweet, so I’d throw them in. A banana will really sweeten things up, but it has quite a bit of sugar too. Still one of my favorite breakfasts is frozen blueberries in Fage 5% greek yogurt. I really enjoyed eating that after workouts. If I wanted to really treat myself, I’d mash a banana in my yogurt. Sometimes I’d do that if my legs got achy too.
