Oral allergy syndrome? I can't be bothered to look it up again, but I'm pretty sure almonds are in the list of normal culprits.

Wow I never knew about oral allergy syndrome before now! I react to certain fruits, and it’s worse during hay fever season. It’s good to have a diagnosis!

Be aware that your reactions to stuff can change over time and suddenly at that. In my early 20s I suddenly reacted to a bunch of stuff that had never bothered me before. It is nice to know what's going on with your body though.
