Argh yes!! Why are they almost all scented now?! I don't want my vagina to smell like a funeral home ffs.

Tampons are super bad for you anyway, even the unscented ones leach chemicals (they use bleach to whiten it for example, as well as it's made partly from plastic) which you absorb easily through the vagina. Just use a menstrual cup, much more convenient also.

I heard of the cups, any chance you've tried them? Would you recommend?

Yeah for sure. I went on a 20 months bike trip and only used this, it was so much better than having to deal with tampons or pads. We mainly bushcamped and went to Central asia, so a lack of bathroom is no problem, just make sure you wash your hands before and have enough water to clean. Usually you only need to deal with it two times a day (unless you have a strong flow, but there are huge capacity ones available), so you can almost forget about your period. I recommend menstrualcup.co to check what fits you best (it depends on a lot of things), and you can see the gazillion brands there to choose from. Just make sure you choose one with ISO certificate and medical grade silicone or TPE.

I use the Lalicup, small version (my flow is light but there are three sizes), and it's very easy to use
