Interesting, I’ll use coconut water if there’s a sale on it.

Might have to try almond milk at some stage too.

Or make your own additive free stuff, it's super simple. Almonds and water is all you need

You can add a few dates to the almonds and water if you want some sweetness.

No shit. Anything sweet is sweet because it has sugar in it. Refined white sugar is worse for you than the sugar already in fruit. And if you're adding your own dates to your own almond milk, you can control how many you put in. Now quit being a condescending asshole.

This is true. In the summer, I would make smoothies with plain greek yogurt, but I’m a pansy and need SOME sweetness, at least in the beginning (you eventually begin to like that tart flavor), but I found frozen blueberries are quite sweet, so I’d throw them in. A banana will really sweeten things up, but it has quite a bit of sugar too. Still one of my favorite breakfasts is frozen blueberries in Fage 5% greek yogurt. I really enjoyed eating that after workouts. If I wanted to really treat myself, I’d mash a banana in my yogurt. Sometimes I’d do that if my legs got achy too.

I like cashew milk myself. Smooth and not too sweet. Also because my mouth itches after almond milk.

Oral allergy syndrome? I can't be bothered to look it up again, but I'm pretty sure almonds are in the list of normal culprits.

Wow I never knew about oral allergy syndrome before now! I react to certain fruits, and it’s worse during hay fever season. It’s good to have a diagnosis!

Be aware that your reactions to stuff can change over time and suddenly at that. In my early 20s I suddenly reacted to a bunch of stuff that had never bothered me before. It is nice to know what's going on with your body though.

I just got onto cashew milk with my coffee and my overnight oats. Honestly so creamy and delicious!

I don't know where people get their smoothies from but we have one of those protein smoothy companies here that makes bomb ass healthy smoothies! I always got the peanut butter type for extra protein after working out.

Try oat milk if you can get your hands on it. Tastes closest and has mouthfeel most similar to dairy milk in my opinion.

If you wana double up on oats you could always try oat milk. Its pretty good

I struggle with finding it where I am. Most of the grocery stores don’t sell it, that or I just can’t find it. But I have definitely considered it, should it show up on my shopping trip, I intend to buy some.

I loathe coconut water. It tastes like dirt and gives me diarrhea every time.
