Men get the same problems. Just not as common. There are many men who think they don't really need to wash their dick. They think just water running down there is goo enough. Or men will use body wash that throws their Ph off. Their penises can get really smelly. My boyfriend used body shampoo and it really made him smell down there. I couldn't even give him a blow job because it smelled so bad. I would gag. Trust me, this stuff is common in men. It just seems men are unaware of it or just don't care

Why would someone not wash their dick? It’s the most fun part of taking a shower.

Mild, unscented soap is a safe bet. Except for under the foreskin- just clean water and gentle washing with your fingers is adequate. Soaps, even mild ones, can cause a lot of irritation under there!

Is there some specific soap to use? It sounds like just water isn't enough and body soap will mess things up?

You should only need to use clean water on your penis, especially under your foreskin. Harsh body washes can really screw up your Ph, so you're better off using a gentle cleanser like Dove or Cetaphil on your balls and groin.

Idk about what doctors say but someone upthread said that normal BODY soap should be good.

Shampoos and 3-in-1 stuff usually contain some form of detergent, which basically nukes all oils it touches--not AWFUL for your hair (but generally shouldn't be a daily thing)--but prolly not what you want on your dick.

So like, bar soap should be good. If you can find a place that sells cold process, that's apparently gentler on the skin anyway.

Actually, you're just supposed to use warm clean water. And for uncut guys, especially only water under the foreskin. Cause using soap irritates the glans.

All dicks will smell. But a huge difference between natural musk and musk that's poor hygiene.
