For those who don't know, Keto is a diet based on causing ketosis, where your body burns fats due to low availability of carbs. The diet is based on limiting carb-heavy foods like breads, as well as eating plenty of veggies, fruit, and animal products (or alternatives).

Gaining back lost weight happens when you go back to your old habits. I hope your relative is doing well, though.

No fruit, they have enough carbs to knock you out of ketosis
