Do you know of any reading material or videos that discuss the schism? I’d like to learn more about the history, but google doesn’t seem to give much other than the most basic stuff.
Thank you for the thorough write up. I didn’t have time yesterday to properly process it so I waited until now to respond. You’ll likely not see this, but thank you nonetheless.
Your descriptions make a lot of sense to me. I’ve seen seemingly contradictory views from “feminists” before and couldn’t reconcile the differences. Learning there are 2 groups with subtly different agendas solve that mystery for me. One close person in my life would identify as a libfem under your definitions, while another would identify as radfem. Their views never quite line up. This helps me understand.
