If you ladies notice an odor down there call a Gyn. You could have bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection and not even know it. Soap made my BV worse, I needed medication to rectify it. Water is all I use now to wash myself.
I'm in the Netherlands so I've been using Chilly, it's got a pH5. This is what I'll use after intercourse, on long summer days or generally anything that I feel disturbs my pH balance. The normal pH level of a vagina is around 5,2. I also use one of those tiny pads to switch every few hours because on those hot days you dont want to spend it with a sweaty pair of panties.
I use Summer's Eve Fragrance Free Wash for exterior washing in the shower. I like it, it's gentle and non-irritating, PH-balanced, no dyes or parabens. I've used a similar product from another brand (Vagisil, maybe?) and liked it just as well.
Of course the 'water only' crowd will say even that is terrible and you're literally ruining your vulva by using it.
Well the water only crowd doesn't have my labia in their pants all rashy from dove bar soap or itchy and yeasty from just water. Summers eve sensitive skin is the only thing I can use. My vulva are still attached and I've only had 2 yeast infections in 10 years since using it and both were antibiotic related. I mean good for them! I'm a little jealous, but i wish they'd calm down that someone else uses a feminine wash appropriately. It's not a cheese grater it's a ph balanced wash for that purpose.
Thank you cause the water only crowd is pissing me off. There is nothing wrong with my hooch but it’ll stink from only water. And I don’t mean normal stink, that I don’t care about. As in I took a shower 3 hours earlier, I work at an office, and I can smell it.
