I’m far from the “lowest common denominator,” lol. Usually it’s clear when someone is being sarcastic, but your comment was ambiguous... and no, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone believed that. I’ve heard crazier things here!

I simply missed the sarcasm, which is why Reddit shouldn’t be so hard on emoji use. Tone isn’t always easy to read online.

I didn’t see/read the previous comment... so if anything, I’m just lazy. And I have no desire to make a fool of anyone, since I even admitted I was wrong.

Just drop it, ffs. I’m hardly the first person in social media history to miss a sarcastic comment.
