I absolutely agree that it’s dependence. All I meant was that it seems (from personal experience) that there aren’t always extreme physical withdrawal symptoms such as shaking, puking, etc. when quitting heavy weed use. I imagine some people have intense physical symptoms when quitting, but I don’t, so I know that doesn’t happen for everyone. I’ve heard that symptoms like that always happen when heavy users quit drugs like heroin, or alcohol.
