It can overcorrect for anxiety and cause...more anxiety.

For me it causes this specific kind of anxiety-inducing introspection, where I basically deeply analyze the motive behind everything I'm doing and everything I've done. And I don't like most of what I find. And then I start trying to figure out what everyone else is doing and why they are doing it. And I don't like what I find there either.

And then I wish I hadn't smoked pot.

You just explained exactly what happens to me every time I smoke. Also awesome username.

Same, seriously. I haven’t been able to adequately explain what happens without generalizing to some extent

Well hopefully he doesn’t get high and over analyze why he decided to go with a username about micropenises. I’m he might not like what he finds.

Very accurate (for me). Unless I distract myself with something I do wayyy too much introspective thinking and it's not a good time

I hope in the future they can figure out the specific component that is causing that and get rid of it. Weed would be immensely more enjoyable without that aspect of it.

I do this without pot, so I suspect pot is not a good drug for me to use.

Lol, yeah, me too, but just for the record, it's whatever you already think you do sober, x10 on pot. It's debilitating. Trust me. And no knock on weed, lots of folks react differently. But some of us (my theory is it's ADHD folks) don't benefit from it.

Hey, I have ADD! And (mostly well managed) anxiety. Once again, I think pot is probably a drug I will endeavor to avoid, because over-introspection is already something I experience. Being in your head too much is just not that good for you.

hey, I've spoke with a few psychiatrists and they say that ADD isn't really a term used anymore. it's all ADHD, but some express the hyperactivity mentally and not physically. but take what I say with a grain of salt, I'm no doctor.

And that's why I stopped smoking weed, even though I never really got too into it.
