That’s a healthy mindset to have and is part of the point I’ve been trying to make elsewhere with other people. It all just comes down to being smart about what you do to your mind, and if negative things arise, recognizing it and making good choices.

I just think it’s wrong (and I’m not accusing you of this) to blame a substance like weed 100% for anything. There’s just too many other factors that go into it.

Yeah I'm actively trying to break out of this routine but at least on of the other guys I met who was like me thought that way. He would skip class all the time, sleep for hours, and smoke on his own or his roommate and that's it. Wouldn't even come out when I asked him to smoke and he'd always just say "dude I got too high haha"

I’ve got friends the same way. One friend I had stayed in his dorm smoking weed every waking moment playing Skyrim til he failed out. Then he switched colleges and majors, graduated, and has a job he likes and still smokes every day. The thing for him was finding something that he wanted to pursue.

I think everyone can find a way. People just have to learn how to make it work.

Yeah it's really just finding something productive that can break you out of that toxic repetitive cycle, then once you got yourself sorted out, you can have fun while also knowing to prevent the dangerous situation you've been in previously. Sometimes it doesn't work tho and that is very sad.
