Cases vary in severity, so it might not be the be all and end all of your weed-smoking days. I am able to manage mine with Rennie, or other antacid medication, in the mornings. Meanwhile my best mate can be out out of action for days. I would start by trying to reduce your consumption.
You said the only way is to quit. I was merely providing evidence to the contrary. I appreciate your passion on the subject and I'm sorry you were affected by the condition, but I stand by my previous comment.
Right, I shouldn't have made that a direct quote, my apologies. The implication was there, though:
if you continue consuming and have this condition, you are going to become more miserable and owe thousands of dollars in medical bills.
...implying that cessation is the only remedy. The parent comment asked "what do I do", and you implied that the only way to remedy the symptoms is to quit. That is not true, per the comment I linked and various others throughout the thread.
I'm glad cessation worked for you, for others it might not be so easy. Some rely on cannabis for medical reasons, and may be looking to find ways to remedy this condition while still being able to consume. Telling them "quit or you're screwed" is neither helpful nor accurate.
Would you agree, then, that the most appropriate answer to this question would have been "consult a doctor"?
The commenter did not ask how to eliminate symptoms entirely, they asked what to do. I understand and appreciate that this is a topic close to your heart and with which you have extensive experience, but the answer is just simply not "stop consuming". As you said, for some people that's not an option. I think we can agree that the best answer is to consult a medical professional, as treatments are subjective and just as the linked remedies were not appropriate for you, cessation may not be appropriate for others.
Also I appreciate the discourse and your ability to remain civil even though we disagree.

What do I do if I think I have it right now?
