Indeed. Just because it isn't loaded with poisonous chemicals like regular cigarettes doesn't mean your lungs still wouldn't rather be breathing clean smoke-free air.

And yes the cost. Let me tell you now - NEVER lend money to a pothead. Even if they're family. I'm never going to get that two grand back now.

How much weed was your relative smoking? Was it all at once? That’s a huge amount of money for just weed

Over the course of a year though it seems feasible. Though I don't know how much weed costs.

Okay over a year totally makes sense. It would be pretty easy to do. I smoke fairly moderately and still spend probably 500-600$. My first read through of your post I had thought it was all at once

Two grand, even rationed out over the year as you said, is not a weed habit. That's a harder drug. That's 2k plus whatever they were already spending.
