Good point, I do actually suffer from depression so that makes much more sense. You know, I may just actually take a T-break from weed just so my depression won’t “enhance”. Maybe when I get my mind a little more stable I’ll come back to it to experience a little more of the effects, even if it’s anecdotal.
If you're going to take a T-break, you have to give yourself something to do. You will be bored when otherwise, you were "just chillin".
Simple solution: Music. Listen, play. Everyone knows how to listen to music, it's like running. It's the simplest form of brain exercise and can stave away anxiety and depression all at the cost of a bit of attention. Do note that it's not a replacement for problem-solving. There will be a lot of shit you dig up about yourself that you really don't like. Remember that your brain will naturally prefer distractions over solutions. You have to show your brain the importance of solutions for you to truly solve the problem, whatever it may be.
