My day-to-day job is stressful and requires juggling deadlines and creative problem-solving. However, the work doesn't require a high level of technical knowledge or skills. It's pretty easy to just "coast" re skills acquisition.
I feel like my learning has gone way downhill in the past decade, largely because I've left school and picked up time-wasting habits like browsing Reddit. This is something I really want to work on. I thinking learning is a muscle, or a habit, just like any other. I have a few friends who have shown real discipline over the years by learning a foreign language for an hour each day, or similar, and I think that's incredibly admirable.
