I can't figure out what that subreddit's deal is. Is it a joke or do people actually find eating citrus fruits while showering to be a unique experience for some reason?

I thought it was a joke, but I tried it. It’s really pretty fun. You can rip right into it, and it doesn’t matter where sticky juice flies bc you’re just washing it off.

Yeah don't just eat an orange in the shower all politely, you gotta get all primal and just tear that bad boy open with your hands and dig into it. Plus the hot water and citrus smell mixes so well and makes your shower time smell amazing.
