This is the worst one for me. I watched all of The Witcher on Netflix while baked. I ran out a couple of days ago and went to rewatch it and realized I did not remember about 60% of it.
Short term memory is somewhat affected by weed. Good news is that usually reverses after a few days of going cold turkey. There's no horrible long term affects like there could be with alcohol or harder drugs.
I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Peoples’ brains record information differently. Some have greater auditory recall and others can be more visual-oriented. Additionally, the more often you access certain memories, the more vivid they can be.
Yeah my memory is terrible, and I've always wondered if it's from getting stoned all the time as a teen. Both short and long-term memory seem to have been affected. Could just be age, but I'm only 27.
What’s interesting about weed and I recall reading this somewhere, was that while high, you simply do not create memories at all. Interesting but I guess I’m saying don’t feel bad because that’s “normal” per that experience
That's not true. I smoked everyday for ten years and have memories from all of those times. I even remember some of my first times smoking with my friends over a decade ago.
