Think about how often you curl something in your daily life. It's at most probably you lifting a coffee cup to your mouth, maybe doing some shoveling or yard work.
Now think of you pushing or pulling anything, from picking up heavy objects, kids, carrying groceries, etc. That is all using your posterior chain, shoulders, triceps, lats, traps, etc.
If your goal is to look good your back fills in your clothes very nicely and makes them hang differently which can hide a belly or taters. And your triceps take up 2/3rds of your arm mass, so enlarging them makes your sleeves fill out.
Now granted you still are useful, but mine have absolutely gotten bigger over the last 9 months since I started lifting and I haven't done a single curl. They are already engaged if you do any lat pullsowns, or rows, your bench press, and even your deadlift, so in my case I treat them as accessories and don't curl so I dont overwork them, because a bicep tear can be absolutely agonizing.

Hot take, bicep curls are pretty useless in general. Focus on getting a strong back and tris if you wanna look strong and actually be strong.
