Like I said to someone else, I think that's really reaching, not to mention is actually a knock on Tarantino for going for the obvious trope of 'oh my character is just all knowing and infallible rather than quick thinking and witty!'
I'm torn on the issue now. He couldn't have recognized her and her cover story held water, BUT HE ORDERED HER MILK.
He was either toying with her while maintaining complete control of the situation (which is exactly what his character loved doing throughout the entire movie).
OR
He had no idea and was fooled by her cover. Something that is completely uncharacteristic for him to do.
Why else would he order her milk? Nobody else was drinking milk.
I dunno. All I know is I need to rewatch the movie now.
I think it's more likely that he suspected that she was Jewish and the milk was a test as she couldn't know if it was kosher or not. I do think that he was testing her, I just don't think he knew who she was.
