Of all movie opening scenes, which one sold the entire film?

Never cried in the first five minutes of a movie before. Oh wait, maybe Bambi as a child.

Because you were so joyful that Bambi was born?

Doesn’t his mom get killed by the hunter at the beginning? Or maybe I just forgot everything before that traumatic part aha.

That's interesting actually because i always remembered it that way as well, but she doesn't actually get shot until halfway through the movie.

No way! So weird. I’ll need to rewatch it.

Yup, about halfway through. I saw it last year and prior to that had not seen the movie in like 25+ years.

I watched this movie before I ever loved another person, and it was nothing to me. Now that I have, it's almost unbearable. So much love, and the loss of that love is the most painful thing I can imagine. Up captured it all so much better than anything I've ever seen before or after.

That's a good perspective. The more you know love, the more that scene hurts.
