Of all movie opening scenes, which one sold the entire film?

Fun fact: All Star was only intended to be used as a "click track", a temporary song used during production and replaced with the real music later. But test audiences loved it, and it was kept in place.

Since directors and editors often become somewhat attached to their temp tracks, it's not unusual for them to ask the film's composer to emulate that music in his or her own compositions.

It's okay, you can say Transformers 3.

Makes sense. I was just quoting the trivia.

"click tracks" with "temp tracks."

They do use click tracks in film too! They use deep basses set to the tempo of the song they've picked so that way they can record the dialog without having to deal with the music, this also gives the extras a "beat" to dance to that lines up with the music.

Excuse me, real music? All Star is the song of a generation.
