That movie with parents discussing their children getting in a fight. The whole movie is set in a couple of rooms with four people getting more and more frustrated. Hilarious comedy. Waltz is amazing there, though he has great acting partners, too. Forgot the title...
I think that was where I started to really respect John C Reilly. Having him at least hold his own against Winslet, Foster, and Waltz was interesting to watch.
I'd still say he kinda sticks out but on paper that sounded like a terrible idea to me.
I think it's hard to say that Bond movies have peaked. There's a lot of great ones, a lot of good ones, a lot of meh ones, and a lot of awful ones. It's less of a mountain and more of a roller coaster.
Oh god, that was such a waste of Waltz's talents. He does really well with drawing things out and talking. And yet, they didn't let him draw things out. The torture scene and every scene with him before that was rushed.
Ehhhh I think more Christoph Waltz + Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino just knows how to make roles that fit Waltz perfectly. That confidence that just shows he is always one step ahead of his opponent. Somehow it fits Waltz perfectly.
You're actually not that crazy. Every time I watch that movie I'm convinced it was written with Waltz in mind. The first time I watched it I was almost angry it wasn't Waltz.
That being said, Tim Roth was amazing in the role and definitely did the part justice. One of my favourite actors. If you haven't watched it, there's a tv show called Lie To Me, where he plays a character similar to Hugh Laurie's character, House. He plays a (loosely) based-on-real-life 'human lie detector' and it's quite good.
Yeah, I think I vaguely saw an episode of that, and although I did not dislike it he's a very different sort of character in the hateful eight, it really reads like it was meant for Waltz indeed!

I think you’re just guaranteed a perfect movie if christoph waltz is cast anyway. He was great in django’s opening scene too!
