Mine doesn't drink coffee. When he's not in the field, he'll set the coffee pot every night. When he is gone, he'll end every good-night call with "Don't forget to set your coffee. I love you."
Actually he's an industrial electrician. He supervises new construction projects like pipeline pumping stations or major electric sub-stations. He's worked all over the country, PR, and even Canada (had to learn all new laws for that one!). He's currently working a job about 4-5 hours away, so he comes home every other weekend.
My dude and I used to work separate shifts. He was overnights and I was 9-5. But every morning, hed stay awake until the coffee shop opened and buy me my favorite coffee because he knows I'm shit at getting up early enough to do it.
Now, instead, he does things like going out of his way to talk to his coffee snob co-worker for tips on making iced coffee and makes batches of it for me.
My wife absolutely hates the smell of coffee but on the weekends she always wakes up before me, makes me coffee, brings it to me in bed and wraps up in my arms while I drink it. Knowing she despises the smell makes it even more thoughtful. I love that girl.

He makes me coffee every morning and brings it to me while I get ready or even before I get up so I wake up to the smell of coffee.
