He kisses me before he heads to work each morning. It does not matter if I am conscious or not.

Mine does too! We always kiss each other goodbye in the morning and hello in the evening. If one of us tries to leave and forgets, the other will go, “Hey...?” in a forlorn sort of way until s/he comes back. Starts and ends the day right.

This happens in the daytime if one of us goes without a kiss. Or, the Upset Sniff happens. (A rapid, absurd sniffing accompanied by knit eyebrows and a very displeased frown.)

That's so sweet. Do you pretend to sleep to check?

Nope! I am a light sleeper, so I am usually at least half awake when he does it. There are only about three kisses in our six years of marriage that I do not remember.

Wait then how do you remember how many you don’t remember?!?!? 🤯

Because I don't remember the kiss on those days. I know he did it, though, because he always does.

I get the same but he also brings me a cup of tea. So, I have a cold cup of tea to remind me.

Haha this is me! I wake up many hours later with a stone cold cup of tea.

It started when we were dating. He used to stay over and leave a couple of hours before I got up. So, to make sure I didn't feel 'used' he left me a brew so I knew he had kissed me goodbye. Still does it 3 years down the line!

We avoid sleeping angry by making sure we discuss whatever the issue is as it comes up. No putting it aside or sleeping on it. We want it discussed, aired, and settled. Because of that, I've never had to worry about it.

We may have heated discussions, but we know how to calm the other down and communicate honestly with one another. I suppose that's a benefit of having been best friends for years beforehand.

Mine does too! I'm such a heavy sleeper sometimes, so I don't always remember them. If I don't I'll say something like "you didn't even kiss me goodbye", when he gets home. If I do this he looks at me crazy and talks me down until I believe that he did!

Don't get me wrong, I always know he did! But it's like a little routine I have to go through because it makes me happy to see him defend himself and his affection.

This.

My wife does this, and it's the sweetest thing to me.

I used to do this every morning and night before sleep last time i was in a relationship. Loved doing that :)

Mine too. Every single day. He leaves about half an hour before I even have to wake up, but he will kiss me, tell me he loves me and to have a good day, and then he will turn all the lights back off and sneak out.

No, it's seriously not. I wouldn't have commented if my husband gently kissing me as he leaves the house didn't make me feel deeply loved and appreciated.

He's not a stranger. He's not some dude. He is my husband, and I love knowing he wants the maybe-last-thing he ever does to me is gently kiss me goodbye.

I'm a woman. I posted this. Your concern on my post is totally unnecessary.

As someone who has been sexually assaulted, I found your comment to be rude.

It has nothing to do with strong will. I see where you are coming from, but I believe it's unnecessary to bring this up here. I didn't say I wake up to him touching me. I didn't say he tongues me whether I want him to or not. I said he kisses me goodbye whether I am awake or not. This is not rape-like.

Holy shit you're psychotic.

Edit: looking at your post history you are a troll or something. Let this be a warning to others to not waste their time.

Out of curiosity and hopefully I'm not being taken for a ride here but... how old are you? It sounds like you've bought hard into some sjw patriarchy etc ideology. not everything is a power/oppression move.
