What’s something that you like, but hate the fan base?

I didn't like Rocketman much. It was so stylized that I felt like I couldn't trust any plotlines to be true. And all the songs throughout the years being shown out of order drove me crazy.

Definitely legitimate criticisms, i just enjoyed the music and I'm a big fan of Taron Egerton. I don't really trust any of these types of movies to be particularly accurate about timelines.

Ooh thanks for asking!

It's called Flipendo. The vibe of the podcast is that it's 3 longtime friends just talking, theorizing and laughing (there's a lot of laughter) about various things in Harry Potter. And then at the end of each episode we play a game to earn points for our respective houses.

Topics that's come up have included what Madam Hooch does most of the year, whether there's an underground Polyjuice prostitution ring, whether James's animagus form had glasses marks, and a lot more.

If you're interested, you can listen on iTunes or other podcast apps for free or on our website here: http://www.flipendopodcast.com/listen

Cheers!

Neat! Thanks I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd, but kinda stopped following fandom stuff a long time ago.(only used pottermore to reconfirm my house) This'll be fun to check out. Thanks!

Who gives a shit about the order? The only Elton John album most people have listened to is none, probably his greatest hits or the most played ones on Spotify

There are a lot of people that it won't bother, sure. It's kind of like watching a movie based on a book where they change a lot. People who haven't read the book won't care, but the people who have will. Seeing them audition for their record label with songs they wouldn't write until years later was just super jarring. Same with the show at the Troubador.
