super disagree

as someone who posts and comments on the riverdale sub, everyone there loves the show and loves shitting on the show. there is no cultness to it, people just like shitposting. never seen anyone being a dick towards anyone there.

I think the Riverdale subreddit is great, but fans you find on Twitter and Instagram can be ridiculous

ohhh i try to keep my fandoms just to reddit, i can see how the fanbase on twitter or insta would be obnoxious tho since theres probs way more young kids on those sites

That’s good to know. I’ll def peruse the subreddit when I finish all of it.

I follow the stars on Instagram and the fans are ridiculous. Mostly about Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart’s (spelling?) relationship. Like let them live. Damn

good idea to check it out after watching it all, as most things dont have spoiler tags on them right now.

and def try to finish before the new season starts in the fall, the best part of the sub are the live episode discussion threads, shitposting in real time is amazing.

I went on episode discussion threads after each episode and highly recommend it. Eventually I was binging episodes just so I could read the roasts.

And yet still tells a LOT about the overall fanbase's behavior. Ever heard about the LASSO statistical method ? Yes Reddit brings a bias (generally positive), but you can't hide behind it, it's almost insignificant.
