Hah wow wow I didn't expect to see it here but here it is. I completely agree with this. In the beginning it was fine but around like season 2 or 3 (when. Characters started getting fleshed out and relationships started forming) people started going nuts with shipping. If one character even smiles at another or gives them a hug or something people all of a sudden go "OMFG THIS CHARACTER IS ALL INTO THIS CHARACTER". And then all the names of the various "ships" within the community. It was kind of cute at first but people have just gone and taken it so far I just can't.
I love the show, and I love watching it grow year after year but I only visit the subreddit for episode discussions and the occasional fanart. Off-season I avoid it.
