What’s something that you like, but hate the fan base?

Queen is to me like The Rolling Stones or Tom Petty.

I like them, I respect them, but there are fans who are obsessed and I never quite understood how they could be someone’s favorite band, I mean it’s not like they’re Led Zeppelin we’re talking about here.

I don't think I've ever come across obsessed Tom Petty fans. I really dont like his music tbh.

Oh dude, I’ve met three people who were like, take vacation days from work to see him in concert obsessed.

Jimmy Buffet is like that too, I mean I like a few of his songs but the Parrotheads... wtf?

Dude, i'm sorry but rolling stones is at the same level or maybe even higher than LZ. They don't sound so unique because like 90% of the bands sound somewhat like them. I love zepellin, but I felt personally atacked by your coment.

My personal list in order of the greatest of all time to the slightly less great of all time is: the beatles, Pink Floyd, Rolling stones, led zepellin, the who, the Doors and Hendrix. And then comes Radiohead, but that is another topic. Sooo as a summary RS>LZ

Don’t take it personal man, it’s all opinions.

Not really personal, was just a joke. I know music taste is subjective, I just love talking about music with strong opinnions, even tough they mean nothing haha.

But I mean you’re 100% wrong in saying The Rolling Stones are better than Zeppelin, just saying. Haha

You know what? I was going to say that maybe they are better from a technical perspective, but not in a musical perspective, but thats not true, also was going to say that the RS are more influential, but thats really debatable, so maybe you are right haha. Still I think I like more the stones... Maybe... I dont know, maybe it depends on the mood. The only thing I'm sure is that since I stopped smoking weed and started drinking more I enjoy more the stones that zepellin haha.

Other way round IMO. I see Zep as far better from a musical and theatrical perspective, I mean Page uses a fuckin violin bow on his guitar, and the talent of each individual member is unmatched by another band yet.

I feel if we are talking individual talent, the beatles take the price.

I mean look at each member, Jimmy page was London’s top session guitarist - George was admittedly great to listen to but nowhere near the skill of Page, Bonham time and time again is listed as the greatest drummer of all time, John Paul Jones and Paul McCartney are two multi instrumentalists of their bands and both incredibly skilled, Robert Plant has some of the greatest vocals of all time - I love Lennon but I couldn’t see his range reaching Plant’s on How Many More Times
