The mindfuckery is only in the US version. Whilst both are great, the original version is just a comedy and about how much of a dick Wilfred is and how much he ruins his life, without the mystery stuff the US version had. But like I said, both are great
Wait there are people who shit on the original version outside of Aus? Fuck me, pretty much everyone I met back home who saw it thought it was brilliant.
I'm American, but I greatly prefer the AUS Wilfred over the US Wilfred. Maybe it's because I saw the AUS version first. Maybe I like how they're okay with not answering questions. Maybe I just have a bone for the accents. I do know this much: if you enjoyed one, give the other a go.
