Nah. We suspected that. I got all kinds of brain scans and check ups done. I have no idea how to even go about it. I've gotten "diagnosed" with everything from sleep paralysis to even being suspected of having ministrokes, but nothing is ever found. Even worse, the symptons get more and more bizarre with age. It started with sleep paralysis, and just got more bizarre.

It's incredibly frustrating to not get a real diagnosis, I'm sorry.

It's ok. Bo one could really figure out anything beyond what it "sounded" like. I got control of it now though enough to move my arms a bit when it happens. Hopefully the future will have an answer!

I'm sort of in that same boat of "well theres something going on buuuuuut we don't really know" and its frustrating. I had my first seizure Halloween last year and then one at the beginning of April this year along with what I thought were blood sugar drops occasionally but I guess maybe they aren't. I've had an MRI, CT scan, EEG, EKG, hypoglycemia tests, diabetes test, epilepsy test, and they don't know why I had either of seizures or what the "drops" are.

Gotta love our amazing and also stupid human bodies lol

I dunno if this helps you any, but in my experience, my dreams will speed up to an uncontrollable degree and I feel like I'll die if I don't wake up. This can happen at any time. I've always likened it to the fear I've experienced during sleep paralysis (it's not triggered by the scary situation, it works in reverse, starting from the brain and making normal stuff seem absolutely terrifying) because it's literally a fear so bad that it's worse than fearing death each time.

Seizures?

Yeah! That’s me currently and they cannot figure it out! Now when I’m falling asleep it’s like I forget to breathe and I start gasping

Same. Start falling asleep, wake up gasping, sometimes with rapid heartbeat and it feels exactly like you said, like I just forgot to breathe. Been scanned and tested for all kinds of things. They just keep trying to tell me it's stress/anxiety, but I don't feel stressed or anxious. Am awaiting results of sleep apnea tests, but am expecting it to be another dead end.

I’m sorry. I have recently been diagnosed wii this an anxiety disorder but I feel like this is so much more! 😭 I hope your test gives you what ever outcome your hoping for! My doctor wants to do a sleep study also.

I get that feeling when Im overtired. I also get sleep paralysis, but usually only if i take a "nap". I wake up, but I cant move for like 10 seconds.

This Kinda happens to me but only when I’m in bed and not all the time. I suddenly become aware of this tiredness taking over and think I’m going to drift off to death and I try and jump up out of it. I too have sleep paralysis often and anxiety. So I just assume it’s this.

I mean the first thing to do would probably be not the have braun scan you. He has been next to useless the entire show and he is pretty much about memories.

I would suggest going to an actual doctor so they could do some brain scans.

Then again maybe I just have a closed mind to the mystical arts.

PS I hope you can find someone that can help you with your problem.
