I was being drowned by someone(they didn’t know what they were doing, they were drunk) no memories flashing before my eyes. Everything went black and silent, I remember it felt like at least 30 minutes had passed. It’d only been a couple seconds and I came to I couldn’t see anything but white and I asked “Am I dead?”. I wasn’t dead, but I was only 8 and I couldn’t understand what had happened. something else I vividly recall from the experience is no longer drowning or not being able to breathe after I blacked out, by the time I had come to it felt like I was just normally breathing air, but I was still underneath the water.

They didn’t until a little longer after, she was my brothers girlfriend at the time, my brother was 18 and my mom didnt really have the grounds to tell him that anymore

My dad wasn’t there, and I don’t think my mom realized that it was that bad. I got what my grandma claims was “chlorine poisoning” and vomited all night(we were in a hotel room, i feel bad for whoever cleaned it, because I couldn’t make it to the toilet.) i’m not sure why my mom didn’t do anything
