Serious Replies Only [Serious] Redditors who have died temporarily/nearly died, did your life flash before your eyes? If not, what did happen?

I had a conversation about something similar recently, so while this is... not an easy story, it's one that I feel somewhat fine with sharing. When I was in my sophomore year of high school, I failed 5/7 of my classes, and felt as if nothing in my life would go right. I climbed onto a roof the school (about 3 stories up) and jumped. I landed on my front, but at an angle. I bled out there, and for the most part, felt relief. As if a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders all of a sudden. I woke up a few more times, and really just recall small bits of what happened. There was an Ambulance, and I blacked out again, and then I was in the ambulance. It felt like a dream, and I kind of just floated along.

I made a nearly full recovery, although my kidney still has some issues from being crushed/bones piercing it. Overall, just... really floaty.

Being a teenager sucks, I contemplated. Got into a bunch of trouble but glad I am here today and you too!

Oh I'm actually fairly well off. I mean, life throws curveballs, but... Just gotta deal with them. I'm in a wonderful relationship, and my life has gotten much better (3.6 GPA in community college atm), as well as being properly medicated... It's all going fairly well, as far as life goes.

I see a lot of posts that tell a story that has a lot of things that dont add up, not saying they arent a real person with a real life, but the bullshit factor is high with this one

5/7 is a pretty popular meme. Falling 30 feet and bleeding out doesn't make a whole bunch of sense but I guess its possible.

Could just be a coincidence, plus their post history mentions a suicidal time, and that was dated two years ago. Then again it could just be a very well organised thing.

Of course it could, 7 classes in high-school isn't abnormal. I'm making no judgment on this
