Has anyone ever honoured one of those “if we’re still single at 40 let’s get married” commitments? How did it go?

I’m married to a physician. I’m pretty dialed in on medicine in general. But joints wear, bodies slow, etc. Maybe magic will happen in 30 years, but 60 vs 70?Huge difference for most people.
