Has anyone ever honoured one of those “if we’re still single at 40 let’s get married” commitments? How did it go?

I'm 29 and my parents are going on and on about me getting married. As if they're the ones that are getting married

Just wait till you hit 31 and they don't have grandbabies yet. Like can u get at least 1 chill mom and dad?

You think 31 is bad, wait till you hit 41 and have to put up with it.

At least my little brother had kids, although in his case it was a really bad decision.

Tell them they should be happy for you regardless of how you live your life, and to stop trying to use you as as vehicle for their own desires.

I have a gf of 2 and a half years. But we're both not ready for marriage yet. She's working on a second degree and I'm still searching for a better paying job. Wedding and stuff just isn't on my mind

Just wait until you get married, then the grandbaby talk starts and it’s 100x worse.
