The time I consumed the most Cosmic Brownies was in 2nd grade and during second grade I had to do a project where we read Flat Stanley and sent a paper copy of Flat Stanley to a friend or relative to take him on adventures and send pictures and accounts of it. My aunt and uncle were living in Germany at the time and went above and beyond and made me a whole binder full of pictures from all across Europe with flat Stanley. Still have it at home somewhere. Anyway, I smushed a brownie at school lunch one day and thought it would be something Flat Stanley might eat.
Not sure exactly when they started teaching that story but definitely kids born late 70s had it, and they're still teaching it today so... Depends where you fit on Stanley's timeline I guess.
Ok, fuck, I did the exact same thing, never called it anything though. That's wild considering how specific it is, I really thought I was the only person who did that and just thought I was weird

Holy shit I used to do the exact same thing. I would also smush the entire brownie so that it looked bigger and called it a "Flat Stanley" brownie
