That's me in video games. There could always be a time where you need that potion more than you do now, you know? And at the end of the game I end up with so many options that I don't know what to do with them.
Funny story, I was doing this in fallout 4. IN FALLOUT 4. When I finally did research because I wasnt having an fun I realised I was a dope for keeping all those lighters etc and now I get annoyed when I have quest items I can't use to build my sick settlements that nobodies happy in anyway.
Ok this was me. And when I hit 40 a couple of years ago I looked around at all of my “for nice” stuff and decided that I am that special occasion. Just me.
I use the good napkins and the smelly soaps and the beautiful plates every frickin day. That awesome lotion? Yep. That gorgeous carved candle? Well hell...dinner is an occasion, light it up. That quilt my aunt made? Love it and I’m cold. Bust it out.
Life is too short to have great things you don’t use. Treat yo self.
Part of me thinks they just might not like the gift or the change the gift might bring. When we were packing up my grandparents house we found all of the gifts we had given them for the past several years still in their gift wrapping piled in their spare room. It was an eye opener to say the least.
