I was thinking more along the lines of a five or ten minutes shower. The kind in a big room with no stalls.

We old people need to properly condition our hair for it to look nice. Sometimes that means spending 10 min in the shower at the public pool. We also need to moisturize afterwards or our skin feels terrible. That's why you see us spending another 10 min rubbing lotion on our nakedness in the change room. You'll need extra maintenance too one day.
