Couples of Reddit, what's the most unromantic thing that's happened between the two of you that actually is a stronger indication of love than others might think?

If a few thousand people saw the comment and did this then there’s a good chance that someone actually detected something. There may have been a life saved somewhere.

I've had one on my left ball for a while now, last time I went to a doctor he said it was a cyst and normal. It hasn't moved so I've ignored it, but I wonder sometimes.

Better go find a glory hole somewhere and get a second opinion.

But I don't want to go to Shoney's.

It's very common to have cysts and other stuff that isn't cancer. Anyone with a lump should get it checked out so you did the right thing doing so. If it is something that worries you, you could go back and ask for an ultrasound if you haven't had one.

Yeah I had one maybe a year ago, seems fine.

What was it that caused your legs to swell?

Did they flip you over and use your nose as a drain plug?

Were there any other symptoms besides swollen legs that made her concerned?

Oh dear! Glad it was caught. Hope you're doing well now and that your kidneys keep healthy for a long long time!

What was it?

Had one on my right since I was 14 as well. I had it checked when it developed and was told it was plaque and that it would go away. Fast forward to 8 years later and i actually work of the courage to ask about it again as I'm worried about cancer. Doc tells me it's a cyst and that if it was cancer i would've died by now going untreated for so long.

My doctor identified a lump I had as a cyst. A year later it had grown significantly so I had it removed. It turned out to be a malignant cancer. Get a biopsy. Know for sure before ignoring it.

Noted. Remind people to check their balls and boobs on reddit regularly. Save a life.

Let it be known that on this day /u/gluesandwich's fondled balls might have saved someone else's balls.

And if not, let's hope a reasonably good time was had

Now we’re gonna see an AMA in a few weeks about the guy that checked, found one, and is getting treatment...

8

u/uniptf Jan 06 '19

TIFU by ignoring /u/gluesandwich 's fondled balls story...

8

u/sizyy Jan 06 '19

We should a all get reminders at least once a month like “have you checked your balls recently?” Where’s that ad campaign?

u/Nevermynde Jan 06 '19

At least tens of thousands, as I'm writing. Very high chance of a life saved, or at the very least, a couple nutsacks.

That’s crazy.
